Every third Sunday of January, Cebu

celebrates Sinulog.

The celebration starts on Saturday early

morning with the Fluvial Procession,

and continues on Sunday with the

Grand Sinulog Grand Mardi Gras

Street Parade.

Pit Senyor (or Senior) refers to the

Holy Child Senyor Sto Nino de Cebu.

Many believe Pit Senyor is the short

version of  "sangpit kang Senyor Sto Nino".
